It was HIM

Last Thursday, my neighbor was rushed to the hospital..

Here’s my experience: That day, I woke up late. I decided to do some workout, but afterwards I’m still not hungry. So I showered and went to my study room to do my devotion. I was in the middle of my devo when I heard 2 woman —sumisigaw, humingi ng tulong ( dko sila marinig ng maayos kc ang lakas ng ulan, and it became a habit for me not to pay any attention to others whenever I do my devo kasi nga quiet time ko yun) And then, bigla nalang ako bumaba ng hagdanan binuksan yung pinto and I found the young girl and putla nya, umiyak natataranta. The first word I say “How can I help?” then she told me she needed an ambulance for her brother. Then I check on inside, nakita ko yung mother grabee ang iyak ginigising anak nya— unconscious, dumudugo ang bibig (nagkaroon daw ng seizure) Masakit makakita ng ganung eksena, but I know that time it’s not me who’s making the move—it was Him. Yes, in an instant dko alam paano ko narating ang guardhouse na walang bra kahit ang lakas ng ulan.

Thankful to God, ang bilis ng ambulance at rescue team. Dumating agad sila, I was still infront of the door hoping and praying to God to save that person’s life. Hawak ko padin yung payong, kasi sabi ko papayungan ko sya pag hiniga sya sa stretcher para hindi maulanan. And then, bigla ko nalang na realized all this time wala pala akong facemask so I let the rescue team borrow my umbrella and decided to go inside my unit.

Tulala ako, ang bilis ng pangyayari. Then I showered and went back to my devo. Dun ko na realized, grabee kumilos si Lord. He will make you able as long as you are willing and available. Sabi ko Lord, is this what you’ve called obedience? How I wish I’ve done something much better. The thing is, I’m only in control of my present circumstances—the choice I make, the decision I made. Above all, God is in control.

The fears, the risks I took are all worth it. Naniniwala ako, sa mga oras na andun ko para sa kapitbahay ko— God protected me all the way! Hindi Nya ako, kami pababayaan. God saved life that day!

Days passed wala akong balita, and then today — the mom knocked on my door, naiiyak nagpapasalamat. No need for the gift but she insists to give it to me, but the best gift that I received is knowing that her son is in recovery. Thank you God, praise to God. All glory goes to Him.

What I’ve learned through this experience is never ever doubt in helping others. Yes, it’s worth to risk in saving others life. Time is valuable and when God called you to—please be available and willing to obey!

Through God’s daily teaching d man natin maalala on-the-spot but God engrave it in our hearts already, you just have to listen and obey. God will do the rest, trust His ways—always.

P.S. Iwasan po natin ang sobrang puyat at pagod. Make sure to eat healthy and of coarse PRAY AND GAVE THANKS TO GOD FOR THE LIFE YOU HAVE. God Bless you, all.

To God be the glory
